Outreach & Advocacy Program

Free and confidential, trained volunteer advocates at the Outreach & Advocacy Program supports our clients in many ways. Services range from assisting with housing and benefit applications to more complex matters such as legal issues and disputes.

Advocates are able to assist with a wide range of administrative and poverty law related issues. Clients with language or other barriers may also access the service to receive help with applications for benefits, housing, and other support services.

Subsidized Housing (BC Housing) Applications, Rental Assistance Applications, Co-Op Housing Applications

Benefits
Income Assistance (welfare), Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Employment Insurance (EI), WorkSafeBC Claims, Persons with Disability (PWD) Benefit, Canada Child Tax Benefit (CCTB), Old Age Security (OAS), Hardship Assistance

Passport, Medical Services Plan (MSP) Card, Social Insurance Number (SIN) Card, Drivers License and BC Services Card, Miscellaneous IDs and Passes

Legal Advocacy*
