CHIMO Crisis Services provides a diverse range of services and programs focused on assisting Richmond, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. With support from both private and public funders, CHIMO’s services benefit:

Crisis Lines

Telephone support for people in emotional distress, available 8:00 am to midnight, seven days a week.

Community Engagement Services

Through a range of educational programs and workshops, Community Engagement Services help people gain the skills and resources to help themselves or someone else in a crisis or difficult situation.

Outreach and Advocacy

The Outreach & Advocacy program provides information, referral, initial supports, advocacy and bridging to community and public agencies.

This section also contains information about the Neighbourhood Pro Bono Law Clinic offered by CHIMO.

Nova Transition House

Nova House provides safe shelter, information, emotional support, practical assistance, education, and advocacy for women and their children who are fleeing violence at home.
